By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. The Creative Gardener was created out of the desire to combine all of my passions. Gardening, teaching, designing, writing, decorating and treasure hunting. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

Spring Fever Anyone?
The weather here in Northern California has been just beautiful! Blue skies, sunshine, and warm. I spent a little time in my yard today, I start getting Spring fever when the daffodil bulbs begin to peak above the soil. This picture is of my small herb garden last spring, things are a little more dormant right now and we had to replace the wood arbor with an iron one we made from recycled materials, it will last longer and the morning glories will succeed on it in the Spring. The groundhog saw his shadow today, so with 6 more weeks of winter I best find ways to keep my self happy, the weather is sure to change! I've been busy getting my ideas together for the first Creative Gardener gathering, newsletters will go out in early March and we will get together around the beginning of Spring! Last year was so much fun, I enjoyed it so much and I hope many of you will want to return. Anyone interested in receiving a newsletter or for more information about the gatherings e-mail me at jacquecdesign@sbcglobal.net.

Yes!! I can't wait...the hard part is deciding what to grow this year! Better narrow it down soon. :)
