By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

Hidden Treasure
I found this wonderful piece yesterday and it was in awful condition. Someone had taken hot pink and peach paint and covered it. It was horrible! I just new under all that paint there was a treasure! I took my chances on purchasing it not knowing if I would be able to remove the paint without damaging the piece and I also was hoping it had a finish underneath that could be salvaged, a patina that would preserve its original intent if not something better. I am very happy with how it turned out. The pink and peach paint must have been water based because I was able to remove most of it and find this great old patina under it. It took me only about an hour and now I have a wonderful piece to sell at the Sac Antique Faire this weekend, as I stated in the previous post we are in space M22 on Sunday. My items are not usually this regal but I just couldn't resist the challenge and I just know someone is going to be very excited to find it, it is a beautiful piece!~Jacque
