Giving Back

That little tiny person you can slightly see in this picture is me, me picking up trash on the beach. I am not saying that to blow my own whistle, pat myself on the back or whatever is said, I mention it in order to bring up an idea that I am passionate about. Respect, Honor and Love for all of nature and all of creation. These things are gifts to us and we need to show gratitude by giving back. Every time I go to one of my many favorite beaches I take the time to give back, usually by cleaning up after others who have simply no respect for what we have been given. I send a silent blessing their way, wishing them a change in heart and proceed to enjoy the process of showing God how much I appreciate these gifts. There are so many little, effortless things that we can do no matter where we are that give back and show our appreciation. I encourage everyone of my readers to find someway this week to give back. I am sure many of you already do all the time, I would love to hear about them, not for recognition but for ideas on how all of us can do more. I love this planet and all that it has to offer us, let's Respect, Honor and Love it like it deserves to be!~Jacque

Our street is used as the connecter between 2 communities and many people think nothing of tossing stuff out the window. I take a garbage bag and walk up and down the road picking up the garbage to keep our road looking beautiful. I have noticed that others on the road are helping do this too.

I applaud you! I love nature, the coastline and the beaches in particular, and I never ever leave anything behind.

I have lived by the ocean all of my adult life until the last few years-I find that there is an intangible-spiritual sense I always feel when I live by the ocean-thankfully, I will be moving back to the ocean in the next year or so. And for now, I just take out some canvas and paint the ocean :)
