By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. The Creative Gardener was created out of the desire to combine all of my passions. Gardening, teaching, designing, writing, decorating and treasure hunting. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

Playing with Toys
Someone use to play here with toys.... someone still does! This cute vintage Tonka truck has a new life. It use to be enjoyed by some little boy playing for hours in the dirt, pretending to move mountains so he could build the next skyscraper. Now it is a planter in the garden, being played with by a big boy that still loves to play in the dirt! Have a happy weekend playing in your garden!~Jacque

They don't make them like that anymore. I have one that was my sons. It needs replanting. I am going to use succulents too. Since its so shallow the annuals just didn't make it(-:
