By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. The Creative Gardener was created out of the desire to combine all of my passions. Gardening, teaching, designing, writing, decorating and treasure hunting. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

I like perennials too. It is fun to see them grow bigger each year. I enjoy annuals and I buy some of those but not as many as I use to. I plant seeds too.
I only planted a few perennials...I have the greenhouse, so it makes the cost of the annuals much lower than to buy them outright at a garden center. Your photos are always so pretty....can't wait for more!
Thank you for the wonderful comment on my window box post today. Blog land is certainly good for my ego on those days when I need a lift!
visit again soon friend.
by the way...that yard art bicycle.....OUTSTANDING!
Hi, I'm a newby to your blog and have enjoyed it immensely. I too used to be all about annuals, then got into perennials in a big way. I still do annuals as I couldn't live without geraniums, zinnias and tulips which have to be replanted where I live. Now, I have gotten into tropicals; citrus, olives, bay etc. but have to overwinter in the barn. Have you looked at Logee's catalogs. They have great stuff.
