Folklore

In one of my many books on the subjects of plants and gardening it speaks of the folklore of plants and flowers. Geraniums are good for protection. They suggest that you place red Geraniums at your front door and at the entrance of your property to keep "wrong doers" away. Mine are salmon colored so I am not sure if I am fully protected, but they sure are pretty, walking past these how could anyone be a "wrong doer "? I think that sounds funny! Anyway, pretty flowers are beginning to gather on my front porch to welcome the return of Spring. Yesterday I began my spring cleaning, I was not very successful because I kept getting distracted by all the fun things to do around the house. I have started gathering together all the Vintage Easter type items that I have accumulated over the past year to sell at the Creative Gardener Gathering, I will take a picture of what I have so far and share with you all who may not be able to attend. So I will try to clean a little more today, who knows I may get something done. Put some Geraniums by your front door, be safe and have a great day!~Jacque
