By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. The Creative Gardener was created out of the desire to combine all of my passions. Gardening, teaching, designing, writing, decorating and treasure hunting. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

Amazing!
Right about sunrise we stopped at a station to fill up on gas before we headed out on one of our many road adventures. There were several trees around the property that had lost their leaves for the season. The two trees in my picture look as though they were spared their leaves, but look a little closer.... those are black birds! Hundreds of black birds, they created a hum of sound and when they decided to go into flight they actually created a windy breeze for a moment of time. It was an amazing sight, I felt so grateful to be at the right place at that time to see something so amazing. Nature inspires me to stay on purpose, this was nature at its best. ~ Jacque

Your title says it all!
It is a beautiful sight...just wondering if it were brown headed cowbirds that do this here...?
Darla you are probably correct on the bird type, I was at a distance and they looked like black birds but it was difficult to see detail, they did have a little red on them, but they were smaller then the black birds I see near my home.
Maybe Red Winged Blackbirds then.
These are the moments we live for.
