The return...
I just love this plant, some kind of sedum, it was completely gone, it froze early in the fall and I thought it was done.
Spring is showing up right on time here in Northern California and the garden is responding well!
This sedum is coming back strong and as you can see beautiful!
Sometimes after a difficult period we can come back even stronger and more beautiful then before.

My plants are beginning to come up too! (and I'm in Ohio!) That sedum is commonly known as "autumn joy" because it flowers in the fall and provides great winter interest if you leave it to dry on the stems. Mine come back every year bigger and bigger; I've had to divide it several times.
I also agree it looks like Autumn Joy, what a delightful plant.
So beautiful - great closeup. So good to see you today.
