By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. The Creative Gardener was created out of the desire to combine all of my passions. Gardening, teaching, designing, writing, decorating and treasure hunting. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

The Winter season has a lot of beauty, I know this to be true, but for the life of me I just haven't been able to find it lately! I don't mind rain, or clouds and it really doesn't get that cold here, but what I struggle with is the mud and the lack of color. It did my heart and eyes good to wander through pictures of my garden from last Spring. Sometimes all we need to get through a rough spot is the hope of beauty again, I suppose this idea could help us through many of the less attractive things in our lives, there is always the hope of beauty again... May you all have hearts and eyes that see all the beauty and when you don't may you have the hope of beauty again~Jacque ♡

Thanks Jacque - it's good to know I'm not alone in the winter doldrums. I too have been looking at old photos when the garden looked like a place I'd like to be. Spring will come.
What a treat to see these beautiful flowers...
I love Blackeyed Susans(-:
It is good to see some color in the garden. My yard looks like a bomb hit! Its such a mess. Oh well I guess I will just look at some old pictures and think of Spring!!!
I spent the afternoon in the garden cleaning up for spring and planting (belatedly some bulbs). Never happier.Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. Yuck.
I love how the sun shines on your flowers. I think if we had sunshine every so often winter really wouldn't be that bad. Even the mud looks nice with sun shinning on it. At least that is what my kids think as they come in all muddy. :)
