My mother had a baby today, 48 years ago! This picture was taken with my sisters right before my first birthday. I have lived an amazing life for the past 48 years, standing there 11 months old I wonder if I had any idea how grand this ride was going to be. I am so grateful for all that my life is and for all those that are in it. It is going to be a great day and another great year! By the way I still look the same... just a little taller...~Jacque*just a little birthday trivia; our president was born same day, same year, but different mom!

Happy birthday! You were & ARE beautiful! I'm not sure where I've been - but your blog format is different. (I'm embarrassed to realize it might have been while since I checked in.) Since then, we've painted/stained our entire front porch and 2 of 4 sides of our front shed are also completed. We've hosted an Open Porch for local parade and a couple of fleets of grandchildren. Slowly, I'm coming out again :)
