Still Beautiful

As our sunflowers reach the end of their life they lay beautifully drying, soon to become food for the backyard squirrels.

they are beautiful in any stage! Hang them upside down to dry and really enjoy them!

Something ate my sunflower seedlings three times in a row so I don't have any to look at!
I have one plant with a long stalk and no leaves though and a bloom that has not bloomed yet.
I noticed the other day that the yellow finches were eating the leaves off!
