By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. The Creative Gardener was created out of the desire to combine all of my passions. Gardening, teaching, designing, writing, decorating and treasure hunting. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

Sculpture Ranch
This past weekend we attended an annual event that we really enjoy. Phillip Glashoff is a metal artists. He and his son Chad create amazing characters and abstract sculptures out of all kinds of recycled metal. Twice a year they have a studio show at their ranch where they treat a large number of guest to a weekend of great food, music, entertainment and best of all, samples of their work in a setting that is serene and exciting at the same time. The pictures I am sharing are just a very small sample of what can be seen at the ranch, I always seem to be too busy looking to take many pictures. Most of the sculptures are very large in size, many move in the wind and they are all beyond creative. At the studio show he also invites several other artist to also show their work. There are paintings, jewelry, pottery, wood carvings, ceramics, photography, and more. One of my favorite things about visiting the ranch is the pet Zebra, I just love him, it always reminds me that God has a sense of humor. For info you can go to Phill's web site at Glashoffgallery.com
