A Couple New Books

I have several places throughout my home and garden to sit and I use them frequently to read. I recently acquired two new books, one I have finished reading over the past few days the other just arrived and I am excited to get started on it. The first was written by whom I consider to be a friend, Dr. Wayne Dyer, this man has brought so much good to my life with his words and wisdom. His latest book "Excuses Begone" is another work of great wisdom and inspiration. I am not a real self-help book lover, as a matter a fact I feel many of the things out there can be more harmful then good. Dr Dyer's work falls under the category of self-help in many book stores and I am sure many of his subjects are just that. I see him more as a friend sharing his insight and his own personal path toward his intended purpose. I highly recommend this book as well as many of his others. The book is available at Costco for only $13.49. I paid $25.00 for mine somewhere else because I was to impatient to wait. Now for the second book, it is titled "Sea Magic" connecting with the ocean's energy, by Sandra Kynes. I just received it today so I can't tell you much other then the cover is beautiful and flipping through it it looks like it will be fun and informative. After further reading I will let you know if it is worth getting and a little more about its' contents. Well that is what I wanted to share today, I love books, I encourage everyone to read good things and find a nice place around your home and garden to sit with a good book for a while.~Jacque

I too love reading and have a couple of rockers on my front deck for my DH to sit and enjoy the yard/garden and reading, relaxing, whatever. I love your chairs in your garden, too. Thanks for the info on the books. Will have to check them out.

Love the chairs, I have the same ones in one of my booths. My intention was to keep them and to make sitting area at the edge of the woods in my front yard. The booth always seems to win!! Tootles, Janna

Hi Jacque,
Thank you so much for dropping by my blog. I am sorry I missed meeting you at The Tattered House. That would have been fun! Isn't Sandy sweet? Whenever I visit my family in Auburn I MUST stop by The Tattered House! This time I found a VERY large oval shabby frame that I'll do something fun with - haven't decided yet but I'm thinking that it needs some robin's egg blue velvet placed inside!

You have a beautiful blog!

Take care,
Holly
