By request I have put down my trowel and washed the dirt from my hands so I can share a little of my creative world with you. The Creative Gardener was created out of the desire to combine all of my passions. Gardening, teaching, designing, writing, decorating and treasure hunting. This all takes place at my little red house with the white pickett fence surrounded by my garden that grows wild and happy!

Where do we find beauty?
I was thinking today about how we all see things so differently. I love that about the human race because there are so many possibilities for beauty. This reminds me of a statement by the scientist Max Plank "Change the way you look at things and the things you look at change." Could it be possible that if we look at something with beauty in our hearts that what we are viewing then is beautiful, just because of the act of us thinking so? This group of objects is sitting outside my greenhouse, it just sort of accumulated as things can do. The picture was taken by a good friend who comes to my home and has taken several pictures which she has shared with me. I love her vision, the things she captures with the camera that I may not have other wise seen. She has the ability to see beauty in places I may have missed. Thank you Lani for your vision and for sharing the beauty you have captured around my home.

What a perfect quote for our world today, if we only have more positive in this crazy world we tend to be living in. Although I think we are all startin' to come around! Take care, Sue
I love your blog!! I'm inspired to use odd containers for some of my plants this year. Thank you for ideas!
